Christmas Delivery Date

Friday 20th of December @ 2pm is the last guaranteed delivery date before Christmas. We will continue to dispatch orders but we cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas after this date.

Our last guaranteed click & collect order for Christmas is also the 20th December.  Please place your order before 2pm to guarantee collection in time for Christmas as we may need to transfer stock between shops. Please call 071-9144872 to check stock availability in individual shops after this date.

Orders placed after 3pm on the 23rd December will be processed & held by An Post until 30th December when they return to work.

Delivery Terms 

What happens after I order?

All Postage details relate to items for sale on www.shoeshop.ie only. All deliveries will be sent by An Post or DPD postal services. An Post and DPD use track and trace postal methods. Once your shoes have been dispatched you will receive an email to confirm your order has been dispatched. Tracking Numbers will update and be valid after 6pm daily.

Please bear in mind that sometimes items can come from seperate places so you might receive multiple packages for one order. There is no extra cost to you and you will receive all the items that you ordered. 

What about gift cards?

We offer free delivery on all gift cards. Gift Cards can be personalised with a message at time of order. Gift cards can be used on our online shop and in all of our stores. Please contact us at info@shoeshop.ie if you have a paper gift voucher or credit note that you wish to use to purchase items online.

A note about delays

We cannot accept responsiblilty for delays which are out of our control once your order is with the courier,for example Corona Virus restrictions, strikes, bad weather or periods of large volume orders such as sale time or Christmas.  Thank You for your patience.

We endeavour to keep our customers updated on any delays and inform you of expected delivery times. 

Click & Collect

Our Click & Collect Service is available at the following stores. You will received an Email from us confirming that your order is ready for collection. Please do not go to store until you receive this email as your order will not be there. Click & Collect orders may take up to 5 working days to process, as the stock may need to be tranferred between stores to the store you choose for collection. Please contact us at sales@shoeshop.ie to check if the item you want to collect is in a particular store if you need the item sooner than this.

How to use Click & Collect

  1. Place your order online
  2. Choose the option I'll collect my order instead of Please deliver to me.
  3. Please select the shop you wish to collect your order from.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email to confirm that your order has been placed successfully.Please do not go to store until you receive a Ready for collection email as your order will not be there.

What happens next?

You will receive an email to inform you that your Click & Collect is ready for collection. Please do not go to store until you receive this email. Your order will be held for 14 days after receiving this email & the order will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued if it is not collected within this time frame.

When collecting your items, you will need to bring the following:

  • a copy of your order confimation email either printed or displayed on a smartphone or tablet device
  • Photographic identification, we will accept a drivers licence or passport

A nominated party may collect your order on your behalf. The person must have your order confirmation and their own photographic I.D. with them.

Please inform a member of staff at your selected shop that you have an order to collect and a member of staff will bring your order out to you.
